I will be offering complementary Reiki Distant Healing Session on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Spring 2020.
These Reiki Distant Healing sessions are meant to share an ancient healing treatment with you no matter where you are in the world. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a form of Japanese stress reduction that also promotes healing. Founded in the early 1900’s by Dr. Mikao Usui, this technique is very simple yet effective.
Reiki comes from two Japanese words: Rei, meaning universal knowledge, God-consciousness, or Higher Self, and Ki, meaning life energy. Ki is sometimes called Chi or Prana. It is the God-Consciousness Reithat guides the life force Ki. Because this universal life force transends time and space, you can recieve it anytime, any place, even if the Reiki practitioner is not there. That’s how distance healing works.
How this session works: once you sign up for the session, you will be emailed an invite to join a Zoom video meeting for our designated time. If you choose to log on, you will see me, Erin, in my studio, and I will see you in your home or where ever you are. Best would be to choose a quiet spot with space to lay down. We will then start with a short meditation and then I’ll begin the Reiki session. Most students report feelings of deep relaxation, peace, and closeness to one’s Higher Self during this time, but whatever you experience is completely fine. After the session we will chat and I can share at-home things you can do to continue the relaxation after the session.
If you do not have access to video chatting, not to worry. Just by signing up at the designated time, I will send you Reiki Distant Healing energy. You do not have to tune in or particpiate in video conference to recieve, it will be send to you anyway. You may want to lay down and meditate or focus on relaxing at the Reiki session time if you don’t join the video chat. Or you can go on with your day. Either way is fine.
This Reiki session is free of charge to the student. The session lasts about 35-40 minutes. I have been a Reiki II certified practitioner since 2006, practicing Usui Reiki. This Distance Healing Reiki Session is meant to promote general realxation, which can lead to the healing of one’s self. This session is not meant to treat, fix, cure, diagnose, or prevent any type of specific ailment or disease.
Information about Reiki is derived from Reiki, The Healing Touchby William Lee Rand, 2005.
